MyBiteIQ is an AI-powered calorie and nutrition tracking application that allows you to:

  • Log meals and activities to track daily calorie intake and expenditure.
  • Use AI-powered photo recognition to identify foods and estimate nutritional content.
  • Scan food barcodes to look up nutritional information.
  • Set health goals and receive personalized diet plans.
  • View trends and weekly summaries of your nutrition data.
  • Create or join groups to share progress with others.
  • Set meal and activity reminders via browser notifications.

3. Health & Medical Disclaimer

MyBiteIQ is not a medical device, and the information provided is not medical, dietary, or nutritional advice.

  • AI-generated nutritional estimates are approximations and may not be fully accurate. They should not be relied upon for medical dietary requirements.
  • Diet plans generated by the Service are for informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice.
  • Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your diet or exercise routine, especially if you have existing health conditions.
  • Calorie and macro estimates from photo analysis or barcode scanning may vary from actual values due to portion sizes, preparation methods, and other factors.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

MyBiteIQ offers both free and paid subscription tiers:

  • Free tier — Includes basic calorie tracking, limited AI photo analysis (3 per day), and 30-day log history.
  • Pro tier — Includes unlimited AI photo analysis, unlimited history, advanced analytics, group creation, and diet plan generation. Available at $4.99/month or $39.99/year.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing to Pro, you agree that:

  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Profile page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled in accordance with Stripe's and our refund policies.
  • Prices may change with reasonable advance notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or interact with the Service.
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code.
  • Share your account credentials with others or allow others to use your account.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
  • Upload images that are inappropriate, offensive, or unrelated to food tracking.
  • Use group features to harass, bully, or intimidate other users.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, logos, text, graphics, and software, is owned by MyBiteIQ and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of any content you upload (such as meal photos). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process and store it for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyBiteIQ and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, health outcomes, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that nutritional data will be completely accurate.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that is harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at the email below.

Upon account termination, your personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the applicable courts.
